TRAITS version 1.0 was released in June 2007 after two years of development. It was the first full version of TRAITS, featuring learning components for individual stocks, monitoring of changing market conditions, and a sophisticated set of risk management and position exit strategies.

It was used to power live run LiveFrom05June2007. After five months of further development and improvements, it was replaced by version 1.5 in October 2007.
